Benjamin "Ben" Halfpenny (birth registered April→June 1906 (age 105–106) in Prescot district[1]) is an English former professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s and '30s who at representative level has played for England, and at club level for Widnes, St. Helens, and Warrington, playing at Wing, Centre, Prop, or Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 2 or 5, 3 or 4, 8 or 10, or, 13.
Ben Halfpenny won a cap for England while at St. Helens in 1928 against Wales.[2]
